2013 Darling Downs South West Interschool Regional Championships at Toowoomba 10 to 11 May 2013
Four of our junior members travelled to Toowoomba to compete at the Interschool Regional Championships. Congratulations to Serena, Renae and Shannon who all received dressage scores which they can use to nominate to compete at the Queensland State Championships in June.
Serena Golder scored 50.556% and 58.750% in the secondary medium dressage.
Shannon Wilton scored 55.455% and 62.200% in the secondary preliminary dressage.
Renae Brumby scored 57.045% and 63.400% in the secondary preliminary dressage.
Maddison Thomas scored 51.600% in the primary preliminary dressage.
Shannon Wilton also completed in the Showman Three-Phase Class placing 10th overall.

This year MEC was proud to hold our first ever Member's Only Dressage Competition. The day was a great success and we were pleased to see our members out and about riding some good dressage tests. 06 May 2012 MEC Dressage Competition, Wallumbilla
MEC again hosted a very successfull dressage competition in conjunction with Wallumbilla Show, with a total of 38 horses nominated across all classes. MEC would like to thank Sussan Evans, Carla Cosgrove and Linda Arnold for looking after the organisation, set up and running of the event THANK YOU ALL for your hard work! MEC would also like to thank all the competitors and our judge Denise Alcock. MEC members had a very successful day taking out all places in every class except one!!
